Lady Broncos fall to Brady in final match of regular season

The Bronco Volleyball team traveled to Brady Friday Oct. 20 for the final game of the regular season.
The Broncos came out hitting on all cylinders in the first set, taking a one sided 25-15 win.
In the second set, Brady settled down and stayed with the Broncos throughout the set, pulling away at the end for a 21-25 win.
The third set was a nail-biter, with both teams being tied at 25. Brady was able to score the next two points to win 25-27 and roll with the momentum into the fourth set.
Wauneta couldn’t shake the disappointment of the third set and fell in the fourth 18-25 to give Brady the match.
The Broncos couldn’t dwell on the loss for long, having to prepare for the D2-9 Subdistrict games on Monday.
Wauneta-Palisade sits in the #2 seed and will face #3 seed Hitchcock County. The Broncos lost the first two meetings this year to Hitchcock County but beat them in the RPAC tournament just two weeks ago.
