Lady Broncos advance in subdistrict play

    In the D2-9 subdistrict bracket held Monday Oct. 23 and Tuesday Oct. 24 the Wauneta-Palisade Broncos advanced to the Tuesday finals after winning their first match against Hitchcock County in five sets.
    On the other side of the bracket, Medicine Valley won over DCSHS in three straight sets and then turned around and upset the number one seeded Wallace Wildcats in four sets.
    That puts Wauneta-Palisade and Medicine Valley in the subdistrict finals on Tuesday.
    On Oct. 10 the Broncos traveled to Medicine Valley and beat them on their home court in four sets.
    The Broncos won Tuesday over Medicine Valley with scores of 19-25, 25-11, 25-22 and 25-22 to advance to the district finals on Oct. 28.
