Not many wrestlers can say they have won 150 matches in their high school career, but after Thursday, Jan 18, Jaret Peterson has that to add to his impressive list of accomplishments in his high school wrestling career. Peterson took just 1:10 to secure a pin over Trev Burke of Cambridge, in the 215 pound weight class at the Hitchcock County Quad. Peterson is pictured with his parents, Crystal and Bruce Peterson, while displaying his 150 win certificate. After going 42-2 in his junior year of wrestling, with the only two losses coming to 220 pound State Champ Cal Wells of Broken Bow, Peterson is laser focused on bringing home the gold this year. In December, Peterson and Wells met at the Broken Bow invite with Peterson winning a 3-2 decision. Peterson sits at 35-0 this season.
