Girls dominate Kimball on the hardwood in Kimball

    The lady Longhorn basketball Team completely dominated every aspect of the game Saturday in Kimball.
    After leading at the end of the first quarter 14-9, the Longhorns never looked back. Kimball was outscored in both the second and third quarter, 16-4.
    In the fourth quarter, the Horns slowed the pace and worked some clock, but were still able to outscore Kimball, 9-5 to take the 55-22 win.
    The Longhorns scored 30 points off of 28 Kimball turnovers, while only allowing Kimball to score two points off the Longhorns 13 turnovers.
    Landree McNair led all scorers for the night with 17, followed by Olivia Spady with 11 and Karlie Anderson with 9. Addy Olson was the top scorer for Kimball with 9.
    The Longhorns had 17 steals compared to just 6 by Kimball.The win brings the Longhorn girls record to (5-6) while dropping Kimball to (2-6).
