Fall post season awards announced
Numerous Chase County and Wauneta-Palisade athletes have been named to their respective conference volleyball and district football teams.
In the D6-4 football district, WP junior Aden Acton is an offensive first team end. Second team defensive honors went to Kreyton Wiese and Grayden Sutherland. Nathan Blackman was placed on the honorable mention list.
The Broncos had two athletes on the RPAC West Division volleyball first team, seniors Peyton Cox, outside hitter, and GraCee Goings, libero.
CCS also had two-first teamers in volleyball, junior Landree McNair and sophomore Riley Rusher. Tristan Nordhausen was named to the second team and Karlie Anderson earned honorable mention.
Chase County had the most players on the C2-7 all district team; Jaret Peterson, senior; Thomas Reeves, junior; Tyler O’Neil, senior; Tristan Jablonski; junior; Zach Herbert, senior; and Zach Tarin, junior. Four more athletes earned honorable mention Malachi Christensen, junior; Tucker Mollendor, sophomore; Tuck Hubbard, junior; and Kole Clevenger, junior.
