Chase County golfers finish fourth at SPVA tourney

    Gavin Wisnieski was the low score for the Longhorn golf team at the SPVA Tournament held in Sutherland, Friday, April 26, coming in with a score of 77. That was good enough for a second place tie with Perkins County’s Zaybreon Hansen.
    Tate Teply placed 12th with a score of 91, Braxton Chubb 18th with a 94 and Carson Terryberry 24th, shooting a 98. Kaden Vogt shot 54 on his front nine before withdrawing on the back nine.
    As a team the Longhorns finished in fourth place out of the seven team feild with a team score of 360.
    Bridgeport beat Perkins County in a playoff after each team came in with scores of 349. Sutherland took third, shooting 354.
