CCS girls fall to Ogallala in volleyball

    The Longhorn volleyball team traveled to Ogallala to start the 2023 season on Thursday against a class C1 foe.
    Ogallala had a good night and handed the Lady Longhorns their first loss of the season.
    In the opening set the longhorns got behind and the Indians never took their foot off the gas winning the first set 25-12.
    The next two sets where much more competitive but the Longhorns just fell short in both losing 25-19 and 25-18.
    On Tuesday night the Longhorns traveled to a triangular in McCook to battle the host and the Minden Whippets. Scores were not available at press time.
C/JV team in
McCook Monday
    The C and JV teams traveled to McCook on Monday to play against McCook and Ogallala.
    The C team took down McCook 27-25 and Ogallala 25-9 and the JV’s beat McCook 25-12, 25-16.
