Broncos shorthanded at MV Invite

The Wauneta-Palisade wrestling team only had three wrestlers available Friday at the Medicine Valley Invite.
Trey McCrumb led the way with a third-place finish at 175 lbs. T. McCrumb pinned three opponents and only lost to  runner up Aydan Kaps of Sutherland (28-5). T. McCrumb is now 22-14 on the season.
Kameran McCrumb also had a win at the meet. K. McCrumb started off his day in the 144-lb. bracket with a major decision win, before losing his final two matches to runner up Scott Hoover of Chase County and fourth-place finisher Carson Cooksley of North Platte JV.
Andrew Mackety lost both his matches at 126 lbs.
The Broncos will travel to Southwest for their final meet of the regular season Saturday.
The D4 subdistrict will be Feb. 9-10 at Bayard.
