Broncos looking to get healthy for district wrestling

The shorthanded Wauneta-Palisade wrestling team wrapped up its regular season with a trip to the Southwest Invite last Friday.
Trey McCrumb finished third at 175 lbs. T. McCrumb’s only loss came late in the third period of his match with Cambridge’s Tye Stanton. T. McCrumb won his other three matches in the bracket by pin.
Konner McCrumb lost to each of his opponents in the four-man 113 lb. pool.
Kameran McCrumb dropped both his matches at 144 lbs., including his first match to tournament runner up Grady Schutz of Hi-Line.
Now the Broncos will head to Bayard for the D4 district Friday and Saturday.
