Area wrestlers prepare for second half of season with busy week

    The last meet for the wrestlers was back on Dec. 16 in Bridgeport.
    It will be a fast paced restart to the season with five meets in nine days.
    On Jan. 5 Sidney will host a girls Varsity wrestling invitational starting at 2 p.m. MT.
    On Jan. 6 the wrestlers will travel to Ogallala for the invitational starting at 9 a.m. This is a boys only tournament.
    On Jan. 9 the boys JV and girls Varsity teams will travel to Grant for the Perkins Co. Invite starting at 2:00 MT.
    Friday Jan. 12, Chase County will host Bayard, Morrill and Wauneta-Palisade for a boys and girls varsity quadrangular starting at 7 p.m. MT.
    Saturday Jan. 13 Imperial will host the Chase County Invite with boys JV and Varsity action as well as girls Varsity matches. Wrestling is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. MT. in the CCS main gym.
