All-star games continue Friday in North Platte, more scheduled for Scottsbluff, Minden

    North Platte Community College announced its players for their annual high school all-star basketball game.
    The roster, comprised of talent from western Nebraska, will have the opportunity to showcase their skills on the North Platte Community College court Friday.
    Taking the court will be Chase County’s Jerzee Milner and Jordan Jablonski
    The girl’s game will begin at 6 p.m. CT, with the boy’s game to follow at 7:45 p.m. CT at the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium on the NPCC South Campus, 601 W. State Farm Rd.
    The West Nebraska All-Star Games will be in Scottsbluff June 11.
    CCS Head Coach April Lambert will lead the West volleyball team, including Longhorns Milner and Chloe Dillan.
    Wauneta-Palisade’s Alexa Sandman will play on the East team.
    Ryan Bernhardt and Morel Jurado will play for the West Team in the football game.
    The Nebraska Kidney Association has also released rosters for the New West All-Star Classic volleyball and basketball games.
    Volleyball games will be played June 15 with the Southwest Conference playing the LouPlatte Conference at Minden High School and the RPAC battling the Fort Kearney Conference in the middle school. Both games begin at 6 p.m. CT.
    Winners will play the championship match at the high school and losers will play the consolation game at the middle school.
    All games will be best of three.
    Sandman and Wallace’s Denay Pelster will play for the RPAC team.
    Basketball will take center stage Thursday, June 16.
    Girls’ games will begin at 5 p.m. CT. with boys’ games to follow.
    The match-ups will be the same as the volleyball games with no championship or consolation games. SWC and LPC conferences will play at the high school and RPAC and FKC at the middle school.
    Sandman and Wallace’s Mariah Gardner will suit up for the girls’ game.
