WP graduates receive college scholarships for further study

    Seven members of Wauneta-Palisade’s 2023 graduating class have received scholarship to help them further their education.
    The scholarships were made possible by the schools they applied to, local organizations, families and local businesses.
    Here is the full list of scholarships earned by the class as announced at Saturday’s commencement.

Sydnee Acton—Haven & Virginia Smith, BWTelcom, Chase County Hospital Foundation, Marge Hanna Memorial, Wauneta-Palisade School Foundation Scholarship.
Halle Bardsley —Marge Hanna Memorial Scholarship.
Chase Bryant—UNK Opportunity Fund Scholarship for full tuition through his Bachelor’s Degree, Wauneta-Palisade School Foundation Scholarship.
Michael Duvel—Hester Foundation Scholarship.
Angyelina Keenan—McCook Community College Board of Trustees Scholarship.
Jacksen Littrel—Hansen Foundation Scholarship, Marge Hanna Memorial Scholarship.
Chloe Stehno—Imperial Eagles Auxillary Scholarship, Wauneta EMS Scholarship.
