WP FFA holds banquet and auction
The Wauneta-Palisade FFA chapter held its annual banquet and labor auction Friday night.
New officers were installed for the 2023-2024 school year. Mandy Sandoval will serve as president, Grayden Sutherland as vice president, Ryleigh McCrumb as secretary, Izzy Stehno as reporter, Justin Warembourg as sentinel, Noah Sandman as parliamentarian, Trey McCrumb as treasurer and Kalli Hoskovec as junior advisor.
The chapter adviser is Tana Engel with cooperating ag partners Danny Schluckebier and Scott Kennicutt.
Following the banquet, 34 FFA members were auctioned off for eight hours of work by Ryan Large as part of the annual labor auction.
Funds from the auction go to program improvement, educational opportunities and FFA leadership activities.
This year’s auction raised $6,875.
