WP, Chase County players on honorable mention lists

The Omaha World Herald announced its all-state basketball lists over the weekend.
Both Wauneta-Palisade and Chase County have athletes on the honorable mention lists.
For the Broncos, Peyton Cox and GraCee Goings were honored, while Bryn McNair, Olivia Spady and Landree McNair were recognized for Chase County.
Familiar faces popped up on the all-class lists. In C1, Ruthie Loomis-Goltl and Olivia Loomis-Goltl, from SPVA’s Bridgeport, were both first teamers. On the boys’ side, Jeron Gager of Ogallala was also on the first team.
The RPAC and SPVA conferences each had a player on the C2 second team, Tonja Heirigs of North Platte St. Pat’s and Ann Bose of Southern Valley. Both played Chase County this season.
Alma’s Addison Neal was on the Class D1 second team while Medicine Valley’s Stella Heapy was second team in Class D2.
The boys’ D1 teams were loaded with area players. Brecken Erickson, North Platte St. Patrick’s; Jackson Kerchal, Dundy County-Stratton; and Hayden Kramer, Maywood/Hayes Center, were first teamers. while Jeremiah Ingison, Maywood/Hayes Center, was on the second team.
