Supt. Lambert’s ‘24-25 salary set as third year nears finish
Adam Lambert, superintendent at Chase County Schools, was given a salary increase for the 2024-25 school year after an 8-0 board vote.
Action came June 13 at the end of the Chase County School board of education meeting. It followed a 30-minute closed session when board members also conducted an evaluation of Lambert.
Lambert’s 2022-23 salary is $159,000. That will increase to $164,000 on July 1 for the 2023-24 school year.
At last week’s meeting, the board approved a $168,500 salary for 2024-25.
Lambert is employed on a two-year contract. CCS board president Karl Meeske said Lambert’s contract automatically was extended in December, but his salary for the 2024-25 year as part of that contract was not acted on until last week.
All eight board members present voted for the 2024-25 salary figure. Board member Carrie Terryberry was absent.
Lambert is just completing his third year as CCS superintendent.
