Scholarships many to CCS grads

    A vast majority of the Chase County Schools Class of 2023 will go on to college with funds to help them pay for it.
    Twenty-six of the 37 members of the class earned at least one scholarship for tuition and other expenses as they plan for post-secondary education endeavors.
    Seven members of the class have full ride tuition scholarships, according to CCS Guidance Counselor Jaclyn Paisley.
    The scholarships were made possible by the schools they applied to, local organizations, families and local businesses.
    Here is the full list of scholarships earned by the class. The list was included in the graduation programs at Saturday’s CCS commencement.
