Local student in Dec. 7 NPCC holiday concert

    The North Platte Community College music department will ring in the holiday season with a “Musical Merriment” concert Wednesday, Dec. 7.
     The Knightly Singers and the Jazzy Knights will perform a Bolivian lullaby, a jazzy rendition of “Ding Dong Merrily on High” and a big band arrangement of Christmas favorites, among other selections.
     The musicians will include:
    Imperial – LaReina Colton
     Grant – Brenden Pankonin
    McCook – Trenton Emmons
    North Platte – Drew Connelly, Avrianna Hayes, Donte’ Koif, Don Kurre, Kohltyn Majer, Lisa Pickett, Anja Tejral
    Ogallala – Emma Baney
    The concert is free and open to the public. It will begin at 7 p.m. CT in the McDonald-Belton Theater on the NPCC South Campus, 601 W. State Farm Rd.
