Chase County FBLA attends fall conference

On Sept. 26, the Chase County FBLA participated in the Fall Leadership Conference in Kearney. President Ava McNair, Secratary Navy Havel, Historian Tessa Smith, Reporter Anna Aragon, Treasurer Matthew Murray, Historian Chloe Colton, and Public Relations Emily Randall went to learn more about their positstions and how to better their FBLA chapter. This year, the FBLA theme is “Together we achieve.”
Coach VJ (Vera Jo) was the keynote speaker for the introduction ceremony. She introduced the three key points on how to be confident. These points included practice and preparation, mindset and self talk, and courage. “She was truly inspiring,” Havel said, “and she motivated me and my work ethic.”
The FBLA plans to use the knowledge learned from the Fall leadership Conference to boost fundraisers, participate in more community service activities, and better the FBLA organization. “I am excited to induce all the topics we learned into our chapter to make this year the best yet,” McNair said.
