Chase County’s 4-H, FFA beef weigh-in set

The Chase County 4-H market beef weigh-in date is Saturday, Feb. 5, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Imperial Auction Market.
All Chase County 4-H and FFA members planning to exhibit market heifers or market steers are invited to weigh-in, tag and identify their projects at this time.  
Any youth planning to exhibit at the Nebraska State Fair will also be required to collect hair samples for DNA purposes.  There will be a handling fee for each animal identified to exhibit at these shows. Cost will be paid online by the exhibitor.
If unable to make it to Saturday’s market beef weigh-in, call Debbie Kuenning, Extension Educator, at the Chase County Extension Office to make other arrangements.
