CCS speech team heads to districts in Ainsworth

    The Chase County Schools speech team will be heading to district competition Saturday in Ainsworth.
    Other teams in the C1-6 district with Chase County are Ainsworth, Boone Central, Bridgeport, Gordon-Rushville, Hershey, Mitchell, Sutherland and Valentine.
    Top qualifiers at districts will advance to the state meet March 17 at Kearney High School.
    CCS did not attend the speech meet in Ogallala Feb. 19, but the team did participate at the SPVA Conference meet at Perkins County Schools last Wednesday.
