CCS quiz bowl team competes in SPVA

    On March 14, the CCS quiz bowl team, coached by Chelsea Zuege, competed at the SPVA Quiz Bowl Invite in Sutherland.
    Seven teams were in the competition, and Chase County placed 6th overall.
    Each team had to compete once against every other team.
Chase County won one round against Bridgeport and lost five to Kimball, Hershey, Sutherland, Perkins County, and North Platte St. Pat’s.
    The CCS quiz bowl team accumulated a total of 90 points in the competition. The varsity final rankings were as follows:
    1. Perkins County
    2. Hershey
    3. Sutherland
    4. North Platte St. Pat’s
    5. Kimball
    6. Chase County
    7. Bridgeport
