Imperial among sites for Beef Quality Assurance certification

Nebraska Extension and Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) will be offering BQA certification and animal handling informational meetings for beef producers.
One of the locations for a certification program is Imperial in June.
Jesse Fulton, Nebraska Director of BQA, and local Nebraska Extension Beef Educators will be presenting BQA best management practices, animal health stewardship and animal handling.
These meetings will update producers on implementing BQA practices and answer continuing questions on packer requirements.
These meetings will be BQA certification opportunities for those producers needing certification or recertification. BQA certification is good for a three-year time period.
