Heartland Series hosts 30 pullers at Chase County Fair

The Outlaw Heartland Series Tractor Pull at this year’s Chase County Fair grew from its 2022 version.
Thursday’s event had 30 hooks total. Organizers switched up Allo Arena so pullers would start on the north side of the arena and end at the south.
Local pullers included Westyn Mendenhall finishing third in the 4,500-pound Division 2 on Dirk Bauerle’s John Deere B. Bauerle went on to win Light Limited Pro Stock.
Among the other winners was series leaders Kyle Lussetto in Classic Modified, Jon Kunz in Pro-Stock 4x4, Daniel Christensen in Light Limited Super Stock and the Lussetto family’s Turbulence in Light Limited Mod.
