First Insight Eyecare in new downtown location

    Doctors and staff at First Insight Eyecare in Imperial are now serving their clients in a  new downtown location.
    The business has moved to 441 Broadway, north of Broadway Steakhouse. The doctors and staff started seeing clients there last week.
    Drs. Eric and Tori Gengenbach purchased the eye clinic from Dr. Tim Meyer in 2010 and had worked out of the hospital annex building at 510 West 12th Street since then.
    Currently, the doctors along with support staff from Ogallala and Grant see patients in Imperial on Wednesdays. However, they are hoping in the near future to begin scheduling patients on Monday, as well, said Janet Keiser, front office manager.
    Prior to opening in the Broadway location, Drs. Gengenbach, who purchased the property about a year ago, completed some extensive remodeling.
    Work included some interior wall removal, new flooring and exterior doors, interior painting and a remodeled bathroom.
