Beef weigh-in for 4-H, FFA on Saturday

    The Chase County 4-H Market Beef Weigh-In is set for this Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Imperial Livestock Auction Market.  
    All Chase County 4-H and FFA members planning to exhibit market heifers or market steers are invited to weigh-in to tag and identify their projects at this time, said Extension Educator Debbie Kuenning.
    DNA will be collected for all animals being shown at the Nebraska State Fair. Veterinary Services of Imperial will be on site deworming animals and answering questions about animal health.  
    Those who cannot make it to the market beef weigh-in in Imperial Saturday should call Kuenning at the Chase County Extension Office to make other arrangements.
