More than $8.4 million going to area farmers from FCSAmerica

Ag producers in its 17-county western region will receive $8.487 million in cash-back dividends from the Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica).
The 2020 cash-back dividends mark the 17th year the company has returned earnings to local producers.
In Chase County, the dividends will total $774,000. Perkins County producers will receive $678,000, while those in Dundy County will be sent $327,000 in dividends.
The 2020 dividends are equal to 100 basis points, or 1.0% of eligible average daily loan balances. The more eligible loan business customers have with the cooperative, the more they benefit, said Mitch Korf, FCSAmerica regional vice president.
Statewide, producers are expected to receive $89 million in FCSAmerica dividends.
