Vicky Eden (Dunbar) Fine

Vicky Fine, 78, of Enders, Nebraska passed away Oct. 7, 2023 at CHI Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Vicky Eden Dunbar was born on Aug. 16, 1945 to LD and Inez Dunbar in Loup City.
She attended Loup County High School, graduating in 1964. Vicky graduated from the Kearney State College in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.
On April 5, 1969, Vicky married Loran Fine. They were blessed with three children: Brent, Jeff, and Sheri. The family eventually settled near Enders, with Vicky teaching at Chase County Schools. In 2009, Vicky retired after more than 33 years of teaching.
She enjoyed sewing and genealogy and she preserved extensive family history and stories.
Vicky was preceded in death by her parents, LD and Inez Dunbar; and sisters Carol Webster and Evelyn Peterson.
Survivors include her husband, Loran Fine of Enders; children, Brent (Bethaney) Fine of Ogallala, Jeff Fine of Enders, Sheri (Iverson) Bokich of Twin Falls, Idaho; siblings Betty (Larry) Fogelman of Alda, Curt (Jeanne) Dunbar of Taylor; grandchildren, Alec Barbee of Ogallala, Ciera (Derek) Andre of North Platte, Dakota Fine of Gering, Kabriel Fine of Ogallala, Austin Bokich and Gavin Bokich of Twin Falls, Idaho; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to be used to honor Vicky.
