Kenneth Lynn Kitt

Kenneth Lynn Kitt was born July 20, 1954, at Imperial, Nebraska, to Robert D. and Patricia A. (Newman) Kitt.
As a young man, Kenny (as he was known) grew up and attended school in Wauneta, graduating from Wauneta High School in 1972.
He continued his education at Colorado State University in Greeley, Colorado, then returned to the Wauneta area and assisted in operating the family farm. He was also affiliated with Rain and Hail Insurance Company as a crop and claims adjuster for many years.
Kenny enjoyed golfing and socializing. He especially loved following his boys, Eric and Eron, while they were in athletics and never missed a sporting event.
Kenny passed away Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021, at his home in rural Wauneta, Nebraska. He was 67 years of age.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Pat.
Survivors include sons: Eric (wife Brianna) Kitt of Fredericksburg, Virginia and Eron (wife Sarah) Kitt of Wauneta; granddaughter, Olivia Kitt; sister, Annette (husband Mike) Forney of Castle Rock, Colorado; and brother, Ronald (wife Orla) Kitt of Ogallala.
Kenny’s wishes were for cremation with no services.
