Joyce E. Hofman, age 81, formerly of McCook, Nebraska, died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023 at the York General Hearthstone in York.
She was born on Nov. 26, 1941 to Bill and Charlotte (Powers) Creasman in Imperial. On June 13, 1971, she was united in marriage to Larry Hofman in McCook.
 Joyce was an active member of Peace Lutheran Church in McCook and was the church organist. She volunteered at the Senior Center in McCook and was a member of the Ladies’ VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed sewing and was an avid Husker fan. She loved to sing and dance. She played the piano and organ most of her life.
She is survived by her daughters Laura (Tom) Gaschler of York, Lana (Rich) Amsler of Rising City and Kristine Gall (special friend Charlie Ebner) of Logan, Kansas; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Roger (Sharon) Creasman of Elfreda, Arizona.
 She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Larry; brother Billie; and sister Patsy Teply.
Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023 2 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in McCook. Cremation, no visitation or viewing. Memorials may be directed to the Senior Center in McCook.
