Gary Dean Snyder

Gary Dean Snyder was born March 14, 1966, in Imperial, Nebraska, to Lela Mae (Wonderly) and Peter Jacob Snyder. Gary grew up in Imperial and attended Chase County Schools, graduating from Chase County High School in 1984. He continued his education at a technical school.
Gary was employed by the Imperial Coop, Chase County Road Department as a truck driver and Pankonin Ag Services.
Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting, throwing horseshoes and watching the Huskers. He especially loved visiting with friends and spending time with his family.
Gary passed away Monday night, Nov. 29, 2021, at the Imperial Manor Nursing Home. He was 55 years of age.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents Lela and Pete Snyder and numerous aunts and uncles.
Survivors include:
Brother: John Snyder of Imperial.
Sister: Delores Richey of Imperial.
Brother: Pete Snyder and wife Beverly of Imperial.
Sister: Sharon Orrell of Imperial.
Sister: Carol Ann Glassel and husband Bob of Landisburg, Pennsylvania.
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services was held Saturday morning, Dec. 4, 2021, 11 a.m. (MT), at the First United Methodist Church of Imperial, with Pastor Debra Copple and Rev. Melody Newman officiating. Interment followed at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial.
Visitation were held before and until service time on Saturday at the First United Methodist Church of Imperial.
A memorial, in Gary’s memory, has been suggested to the Snyder Family for a future designation.
