Frank George Clements

Frank George Clements was born Oct. 29, 1928, in Imperial, Nebraska to Homer Clements and Carrie (Watts) Clements.
He passed away on March 7, 2022, at the Wauneta Care Center at the age of 93.
Frank Clements married the love of his life, Alice Cummins, on Nov. 23, 1948, in Imperial. Frank and Alice were married 65 years. To this union three children were born, Linda, Scott, and Diane.
Frank graduated from Chase County High School in 1946. Frank farmed, ranched, shod horses and raised and trained racehorses. The family was active in 4-H, Little Britches, High School Rodeo and horse races. They made many friends and enjoyed special family times together. Frank enjoyed square dancing, hunting, fishing, collecting guns and red dishes and attending auctions in search of a treasure.
Frank was a 65-year member of the Masonic Lodge of Imperial and later the Ogalalla Lodge. He served on the Chase County School Board, was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church and a member of the Chase County Fair Board.
He was preceded in death by his wife Alice; his father and mother Homer and Carrie; two sisters, Lois Siefken and Shirley Smith; two brothers-in-law, Calvin Daschofsky and Art Siefken; and one grandson, Josh Cummings.
He is survived by his children Linda Cummings (David) of Princeton, Louisiana, Scott Clements (Linda) of Imperial, Diane Cart (Dale) of Binger, Oklahoma, four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is survived by one sister, Wava Daschofsky of Imperial; one brother-in-law Stanley Smith of Imperial; three sisters-in-laws, Dorothy Mullen of North Carolina, Janice Krause (Bob) of Colorado and Corrine Johnson (Gary) of Colorado; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Services were held Monday, March 14 at the First United Methodist Church of Imperial, with Pastor Debra Copple officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial.
Visitation was held Sunday, March 13 at the Liewer Funeral Home in Imperial.
