Elden Albert Bauerle

God called home Elden Albert Bauerle on Sept. 3, 2023. He was born Oct. 22, 1934 to his parents Albert and Leila Bauerle. He grew up on a farm in the Champion, Nebraska area. Elden attended a county grade school and high school in nearby Imperial, in which he was active in several sports and FFA. He graduated from Chase County High School in 1954.
On Jan. 22, 1956, he married DeeAnn Kilpatrick. To this union two daughters were born, Colette and Andrea. He raised corn on the family farm until moving to the Northwest.
Because of his health, Elden and his family moved to Redmond, Oregon. For employment, he artificially bred cows and was a truck driver for Central Electric Cooperative. Hunting, fishing, growing a garden every year and camping were activities he enjoyed. Elden was also very involved in the Community Presbyterian Church, where he served on several committees and volunteered in maintenance.
He is survived by daughters Colette (Matt) Dietrich and Andrea Galloway; grandchildren Sheena Galloway, Bryce Eriksen, Mackenzie Eriksen and Bethany Galloway; great grandchildren Ella and James Eriksen; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding deaths include parents Albert and Leila Bauerle; sisters Charline Ghiselli and Isla Jaeger; wife DeeAnn Bauerle; and son-in-law Timothy Galloway.
Elden was an inspiration to everyone that knew him.
A funeral service was on Sept. 16, 2023 at the Community Presbyterian Church in Redmond, Oregon.
