Death Notice: Russell Eugene Meyer

    Russell Eugene Meyer, former Hamlet/Wauneta resident, passed away Aug. 27, 2021 in Omaha, Nebraska.
    He was a 1953 graduate of Wauneta High School.
    Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Beulah and Howard Meyer; brother, Ken Meyer.
    Survivors include wife, Amy Meyer; children, Cindy Langdon, Chris (Paulette) Meyer, Wayne (Sara) Meyer; and three grandchildren: Dayna, Jack, Jacob; and sister, Marleen Orndorff.
    Visitation for family members was held Saturday, Sept. 4 at Heafey, Hoffman, Dwarak, Cutler Mortuary in Omaha.
    A graveside service will be held sometime in the future. There will not be a funeral service.
