Death Notice: Myron “Mike” Kirwan

    Myron “Mike” Kirwan, a longtime resident and teacher of Imperial passed away Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022, at the Pruitt Health Care Center in Monroe, North Carolina. Mike was 92 years of age.
    Survivors include daughter, Karen Weiner of Indian Trails, North Carolina; son, Kris Kirwan of Indian Trails, North Carolina; five grandchildren
    Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 8, 3 p.m. (ET) at the Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church in Weddington, North Carolina.
    Visitation will be held before services starting at 2 p.m. (ET) at the church.

    A memorial, in Mike’s memory, has been suggested to the Kirwan Family for a future designation.
