Death Notice: Michael R. Sorensen

Michael R. Sorensen, former resident of Imperial, Nebraska and principal of Chase County Public Schools, passed away Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022, at the Chase County Community Hospital, Imperial. Mike was 54 years of age.
Survivors include wife Nancy of Wauneta; daughter Bethany Malmkar and husband Alex, of Grant; son Isaac Sorensen of Lincoln; sister Michelle George and husband Tom, of Henderson, Nevada.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022, 2 p.m. (MT) at the Imperial Berean Church with Pastor Matt Maxwell officiating.
Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 12, 3-6 p.m. (MT) at Liewer Funeral Home in Imperial.
Memorials, in Mike’s memory, have been suggested to the Sorensen Family for a future designation.
