Death Notice: John Osler

    Longtime Imperial resident John Osler passed away Monday morning, July 5 at the Imperial Manor Nursing Home, Imperial. John was 94 years of age.
    Immediate survivors include two daughters, Susan (Steve) Hanson of Elsie and Amy (Clark) Hemje of Adams; three sons, Scott (Debbi) Osler of Elsie, Doug (Jody) Osler of North Platte and Bill (Gail) Osler of Aurora, Colorado.
    Funeral services will be held Monday, July 12 at 9:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Imperial with Pastor Debra Copple officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Blanche Cemetery, rural Elsie.
    John chose cremation, and there will be no visitation.
    Memorials have been suggested to the Osler family for a designation to the Chase County Museum or the Blanche Cemetery.
