Darin Rex Peaslee

Darin Rex Peaslee, age 21, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022 in McCook, Nebraska. He was born on Sept. 12, 2000 in Greeley, Colorado. His birth parents were Mandy Peaslee and Anthony Garza, however he was raised by his loving grandparents, Charlie and Anna Peaslee through his childhood.
Darin attended school in Trenton, Nebraska and graduated from Hitchcock County High School with the class of 2019. He served in the Nebraska Army National Guard and worked for Frenchman Valley Coop for many years, both in McCook and Imperial. He loved sports, especially football. Darin loved the outdoors and spent as much of his free time as possible fishing or camping. He loved to spend time with his brothers and grandparents and enjoyed harassing his close friends. Darin had an infectious smile that filled a room anywhere he went.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Janet and Rex McTavish and maternal great-grandparents, Tommie and Fred Peaslee.
Darin is gone too soon, but still lives on in the hearts and memories of his grandparents, Charlie and Anna Peaslee and Johnny and Janey Garza; brothers, Devin (Jaramie) Peaslee and David Peaslee; sister, Tasia (Daniel) Duran; as well as his friends, Garrett Sramek, Logan Schaffert, and Daniel Christensen just to name a few.
A Celebration of Life Gathering took place on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022 from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. (CT) at the TCDC Building in Trenton. Cremation was chosen and inurnment will take place in the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Greeley, Colorado at a later date.
