Cody Draper

It is with deep sadness that the Draper family announces that Cody Draper passed away on Dec. 28, 2023 in Lubbock, Texas.
Born in Imperial, Nebraska, he will be remembered for his quick smile, love of rafting/boating and a giving spirit, among many other things.
A celebration of life for Cody will be held July 20, 2024 in Craig, Colorado, in collaboration with Josh Veenstra (friend and river raft guide) and the Yampa Roots Rock Reggae festival. We will gather to spend time on the river, host a riverside cleanup, listen to great music, and share hugs, laughs, tears and stories about our son, brother, and friend. Cody’s friends are building a bench by the river, in his memory.
All donations will go towards the Northwest Colorado Boys and Girls Club in Craig as a gift in Cody’s name.
We are overwhelmed by the number of people who have reached out to the family. We have come to find out that Cody touched many lives and hearts in many ways. We will be always grateful for the love and words of support and encouragement. THANK YOU.
Our family kindly asks that you take care of yourselves and your loved ones as we roll into 2024, for you never know what tomorrow may bring.
Love, Marv and Shary,
Denny and family
Tad and family
Kelsey and family
And our extended family
