Bryan Joseph Dobak

Bryan Joseph Dobak passed from this life on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023 from melanoma at age 26 in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where he had been living since 2020.
Bryan was born in Fairfax, Virginia on Aug. 12, 1996. He lived in Lamar from 2013 to 2020, and was a 2015 graduate of Chase County High School, a parishioner at St. Patrick Church in Imperial and a former employee of Imperial Super Foods and Harchelroad Motors.
Bryan was a unique soul, fun-loving and sociable, with a great handshake and smile. It was a pleasure to talk with Bryan, and he was deeply loved by many throughout his short life. His passions were cars and joke telling. Bryan also enjoyed being active in the Knights of Columbus.
Bryan is survived by his parents, Kristin and Kurt Schueler of Morristown, Tennessee (formerly of Lamar) and John Dobak of Fredericksburg, Virginia; four sisters, Lauren (Sean) McMahon of Haymarket, Virginia, Mary (Robby) Mack of York, South Carolina, Elizabeth (Michael) Steger of Sheboygan, Wisconsin and Kate Dobak of Ft Mill, South Carolina; brother John William Dobak of Vienna, Virginia; nieces Lyla and Ali Mack of York, South Carolina; nephew Sean McMahon of Haymarket, Virginia; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Bryan’s Funeral Mass and Memorial will be held at St Mary of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Fredericksburg, Virginia on Friday, Feb. 3 at 2 p.m. Please pray for the repose of his soul and for each other.
