Record breaking year for Chase County Fair

Records fell throughout the week as Chase County residents enjoyed this year’s fair.
Highlighting the week’s activities was Saturday night’s concerts.

This Prince Albert tobacco can was found hidden under one of the stairs being renovated. It contained a handwritten note of family names and ages. According to the date, it will soon be 100 years old.

Chase County Schools gets two German exchange students

Chase County High School has two exchange students for the 2023-2024 school year. They are both from Germany. Fabian Arelin, 16, is from Leipzig, and Kiara Nau, 16, is from Heidelberg.
