Young speech team continues to grow

The Chase County Schools (CCS) speech team will travel to Sutherland this weekend.
Speech Coach Alex Schilke said she’s pleased with how the team has performed so far this season.
“The team is continuing to grow,” she said. “I am excited to see how our team improves and continues to find confidence.”
The season started at CCS’s home meet on Jan. 5, where sophomore Tegan Towns placed first in poetry.
