Wauneta town wide clean up June 10-12

The Village of Wauneta will be holding a town wide clean-up on June 10-12, 2026.
Residents can dispose of the following items.
Household waste- can be hauled to roll-off dumpster at the village shop.
Trees and grass- haul to areas designated by signs.
Treated lumber and construction waste- haul to area marked south of tree dump.
Metal and Appliances- designated area west of Village Shop.
A loader will be provided at the dumpster, to assisst with loading and dumping (during business hours).
Mattresses- leave at west end of dumpster.
Items not accepted include: tires, batteries, pallets, hazardous waste. Village staff may decline other items at their discretion.
Residents are asked to pay $10.00 per load to offset costs incurred by the village. You can contact the Village office to pay the fee and with any questions.
