Vision of Trees this weekend; singers to perform Sunday

    The Champion Community Center will be the place to be on Saturday, Dec. 6 and Sunday, Dec. 7, in Champion Ne. They will be hosting the 20th annual Vision of Trees.
    On Saturday, there will be a potato bake luncheon from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. There will be trees on display and lots of items available in the silent auction.
    There will also be a raffle and craft and baked goods available to purchase.
    On Sunday, a soup luncheon will be served from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Phyllis Mock will perform live music, followed by a performance of the 9th Street Singers Alumni Group at 1:00 p.m. The singers were to perform on Saturday but switched to Sunday due to some scheduling conflicts.
    Santa will be available for visits both days.
    The auction starts at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday and you need not be present to win. All proceeds will go back to the community members in need.
