Trace Adkins in books for Saturday’s fair concert

Aaron Watson, Hardy set for Friday night

It’s for real this time.
When tickets for Trace Adkins were set to go on sale online for the last year’s Chase County Fair, Entertainment Chair Alex McNair was notified that Adkins had a personal scheduling conflict and would be unable to appear in Imperial on Aug. 17, 2019.
Adkins was then booked for the 2020 show.
He’s still on schedule to be the headliner for the Saturday night show on Aug. 15. An opener for Adkins as not yet been announced.
This August won’t be his first trip to Imperial, either.
Adkins’ first appearance at the Chase County Fair was in 2005.
He’s been a big part of the country scene for more than 20 years, with 11 million albums sold.
Adkins made his debut in 1996 with the album Dreamin’ Out Loud on Capitol Records Nashville. He has since released 10 more studio albums and two “Greatest Hits” compilations.
But the country music icon is still making music.
In September 2019, Adkins was featured in a new music video with Blake Shelton called “Hell Right.”
The duo will also be doing a tour together this year dubbed Friends and Heroes.
