Sunday museum program to host genealogy speaker

The Chase County Museum will be hosting genealogist Kaylene Silvester this Sunday at 2 p.m.
She will be presenting a program called “Finding Your Roots.”
During her talk, Silvester will include nine different strategies for researching a family tree.
One of those searches involved her having three different DNA tests performed. She will be explaining the differences and benefits of each.
She would like attendees to bring their genealogies Sunday if they have them.
“If you have hit a brick wall, I might be able to give you some ideas,” she said.
