St. Paddy’s Day event sponsored by Hanging Horseshoe Brewing Co.

Hanging Horseshoe Brewing Co. and Broken Arrow Cellars are hosting a “Mini Masters” community-involved 9-hole Putt Putt golf tournament this Saturday.
Teams will consist of four people. The cost is $30 a person which includes a T-shirt and the evening meal.
Steve Schilke, co-owner of Broken Arrow Cellars with wife, Deborah, asks anyone wanting to compete in the golf tournament to meet at the brewery at 1:30 p.m. There will be a shotgun start at 2 p.m.
Teams will play one hole at each sponsor’s location where refreshments will also be available.
Once all nine holes have been played, teams will meet back at the brewery.
Prize money will be awarded to the first, second and third place teams.
Schilke said there will be a limited number of teams, so pre-registration is requested. Participants can register on the winery’s Facebook page or call Broken Arrow Cellars at 308-882-7772.
Following the golf tournament, there will be a meal served at the winery around 6:30 p.m.
There will also be a silent auction going on throughout the day at the brewery. The community is invited to attend. The evening meal may be purchased by the public, as well.
The silent auction will close around 7:30 p.m.
Proceeds from this benefit will go to the Chase County Hospital Foundation and the Smokin’ on Broadway event.
Sponsors for the tournament are Hanging Horseshoe Brewing Co, The Beverage Barn, S & P Liquor, VFW Post #4688, The Eagles Club, Imperial Lanes, 509 Broadway, Imperial Country Club and Enders Lake Golf Course.
