Pumpkin Run, fall activities scheduled for this weekend

    Despite Mother Nature dealing some hard blows to the area, Cox’s Ponds will be open to the public Saturday and Sunday for its annual fall activities.
    Kickoff for the two-day event will be the Pumpkin Run Saturday morning.
    Check-in and registration is at 8 a.m. with the three-mile run beginning at 8:30 a.m.
    The kids’ half-mile run will start at 9:15 a.m., with awards and prize drawings for all participants at approximately 10 a.m.
    Runners are encouraged to wear costumes for the race.
    The entry fee is $18 if received before Saturday and $20 the day of the race.
    The Kids’ Run (12 and under) is free.
    Entry forms can be dropped off at Imperial Super Foods.
