Pumpkin patch offers activities galore

The annual pumpkin patch at Cox’s Ponds west of Champion had a steady stream of visitors last weekend. Above, Linsey Foote and her daughters, London and Tilly, pick out their favorite pumpkins from a long row of choices. Pictured next, Ryan Taylor and brother Lane ride the teeter-totter while pumpkin patch activities go on behind them. Below, four-year-old Claire Schack from Benkelman pets a goat in the petting zoo, while Imperial Mayor Dwight Coleman could be seen giving train rides Saturday morning throughout the pumpkin patch, pictured bottom. The Cox and Cupp families have been hosting pumpkin patch activities since 1985. (Johnson Publications photos)
