Offices starting move to new county building next week

Two of the offices will start moving next week to the new county building on East 5th Street. The Chase County Extension Office and the Nebraska Health and Human Services (HHS) office, both now housed in rented offices at 130 West 5th St., will start their moves Monday, according to spokespersons from both offices. Also to be located in the new building will be the County Veteran’s Service Office and the Chase County Transit Office, both of which are now in the Imperial Community Center. Their moves to the new site will start a little later. Workers took advantage of the sunny weather Tuesday afternoon to complete additional dirt work, as final construction cleanup was underway indoors. (Johnson Publications photo)
