New ‘cowboy church’ planning for first meeting in February

Chase County residents will have a new church option next month.
Dave Hogsett and Josh Taylor are co-commanders for Imperial’s new “cowboy church.”
The church will have its first gathering on Sunday, Feb. 10, at 4:30 p.m. at the Imperial Auction Market.
Auction Market owners Preston and Marissa Smith offered the salebarn to Hogsett and Taylor to use.
“Everybody’s welcome,” Hogsett said.
“Everybody,” Taylor said, “come in your chore clothes, hospital scrubs, whatever.”
